Location Well Presented Close to Riccarton Mall

Christchurch City
Reference: CA252
Motel / Motor Lodge
Business Lease $495,000

This 12 unit property has benefitted from the very strong corporate clientele that they have developed. All units are very well presented with quality chattels and fittings. The landlord has agreed to extend the lease to thirty years from possession for the new lessee.

The financial accounts will show how well this property has stood up to the very challenging times, including earthquakes and Covid and it seems that its location and good management has contributed to that.

It is expected that with the Convention Centre having now opened, the new Metro Sports Facility opening this year and the new rugby stadium in a couple of years, the major drawcards to Christchurch should allow the city full recovery from the earthquakes.

A new influx of people will benefit the whole city. Exciting times to come and a top hospitality unit like this one should enjoy the positive progress for Christchurch.

Inky Stove

Inky joined Coffeys after spending over 20 years in the hospitality industry. The first five years were managing a group of four hotels and the last 15 successfully running his own hotel, where he was the longest standing publican in a hotel that was first opened in 1867.

Many changes in regulations in this industry has required lateral thinking and creative actions to stay competitive.  It is this philosophy that Inky brings to Coffeys along with outstanding service to his clients, which has been the cornerstone of his success in the industry.

Inky and his wife Paulette have raised two sons and two daughters and have six grandchildren.  His leisure activities include rugby, cricket and golf, as well as family and friends.
