Luxurious Boutique Lodge - Vendors Negotiable

Reference: WC793
Bed and Breakfast
Land, Buildings and Business $1,600,000 Negotiable

A wonderful opportunity in prime tourist country, this Lodge is set high on a hill above sweeping coastline of the West Coast of the South Island. Offering stylish luxury lodge accommodation on over 8 hectares of land including manicured garden areas. With lowland rainforest, wild beaches and the unspoilt nature of the rugged West Coast as a backdrop, the lodge boldly reflects the spirit and adventure of the area with vibrant colour and modern design.

A panoramic terrace outside of the main lodge building features an open-air fireplace and barbecue that is in use all year round, which the lodge guests choose to sit and watch the amazing sunsets from.

This business is ideally set up for a chef or cook to bring this property to its full potential. The opportunity to add in breakfast and dinners for the traveling clientele and in addition, weekend lunches in the beautifully landscaped gardens could be a huge attraction for locals.

Just after the entrance to the property, there are four fully fenced large paddocks with water supplied and a very large 14-metre by 4-metre tunnel house to grow vegetables and a Hen house that supplies fresh eggs.

Potential exists to operate the business all year round and further enhance the returns, whilst living in an idyllic part of New Zealand's West Coast. Extra land could generate more revenue with the addition of powered sites to have access to the campervan trade. The purchase price would most probably be well below replacement cost, representing a real opportunity for someone with an eye for a tourism venture.

Inky Stove

Inky joined Coffeys after spending over 20 years in the hospitality industry. The first five years were managing a group of four hotels and the last 15 successfully running his own hotel, where he was the longest standing publican in a hotel that was first opened in 1867.

Many changes in regulations in this industry has required lateral thinking and creative actions to stay competitive.  It is this philosophy that Inky brings to Coffeys along with outstanding service to his clients, which has been the cornerstone of his success in the industry.

Inky and his wife Paulette have raised two sons and two daughters and have six grandchildren.  His leisure activities include rugby, cricket and golf, as well as family and friends.
