Top Performing Motel - Quiet, Spacious Grounds

Hurunui
Reference: CA205
Motel / Motor Lodge
Business Lease $650,000

The opportunity has arisen to purchase the lease of one of Hanmer Springs best performing middle of the range motels. Set in lovely, tranquil surroundings a few minutes' walk to the Thermal Pools and restaurants of the Village, this complex provides that often hard to find, restful location for operators without the need to compromise on excellent financial returns.

This is one of Hanmer Springs original motels, built as a quaint collection of holiday chalets and in the years since the complex has been extensively rebuilt and modernised to be a self-contained alpine style 'village' set in delightfully landscaped grounds and complete with its own village green.

Hanmer Springs is a vibrant, year round destination, particularly popular these days with guests from all over New Zealand. While the Thermal Reserve is the major attraction of the area, many visitors arrive to participate in the quickly growing numbers of outdoor pursuits available such as golf, fishing, skiing and heli-skiing, forest walks, mountain biking, 4WD safaris, 4W motorbike safaris, horse trekking, rafting, bungy jumping, canoeing, paragliding, kayaking, scenic air flights and the like.

The business has an excellent trading history and will appeal to those seeking to combine operating in restful, spacious surroundings with excellent returns from their business.
