More Description

We have owned and run the Arthur's Pass Alpine Motel for 12 1/2 years. Our local relief manager has shifted out of Arthur's Pass, so we are looking at other options. We are looking for a couple to manage our Motel, while we get some time out. This will be a long term position starting later in 2026. The role will involve full management, including the booking platform (Seekom), phone calls (very few these days), checking in of guests, placing linen orders and cleaning of the 8 Motel units, which are a mix of fully self contained double units and family units. We don't have any cleaning staff as we have always managed to do it all ourselves. Accommodation is provided in the fully equipped Managers unit on site. We are thinking 10 days on 4 days off, but we are totally flexible on this and open for discussion. If this sounds like you, give us a call or send us an email. Thanks, Pete and Fi

More Description

We're looking for an active & motivated couple interested in a long term (1 year+) management contract at our beachfront Motel in Paihia, Northland. Prior experience running & managing a motel is essential (3 years) and applicants must be comfortable performing all tasks required to run and operate a Motel. We have a team of housekeepers but some housekeeping will still be required. Applicants should also have experience hiring, training & managing staff. Having someone who's handy enough to tackle minor repairs would also help. If you're interested in knowing more about the role, please email through your CV and we'll get in touch. This is a management contract so the successful applicants would need to have, or be willing to create, their own GST registered company. Cheers Oliver
