I was managing the Beach Lodge Motels in St Kilda Dunedin for 2 years. It is an 18-unit complex which I did on my own. We did all laundry on site so that kept me busy and out of mischief.
I finished my time there in September 24 so had a lovely holiday before commencing my minding journey. I have been at motels in Christchurch and am currently at a motel in Nelson.
I am open to anything and anywhere in NZ really, just looking forward to some new challenges.

Our names are Shelagh and Ross Laird, we are based in the North Island. We have had over 18 years working in the Motel, Holiday Park and Tourism industry between us. It is a lifestyle and a job that we enjoy very much, we also enjoy travelling around New Zealand so we decided to
combine the two by minding Motels and Holiday Parks while the owners go on much deserved breaks.
So far we have used Seekom, Callista, Aurelian, Strait Reservation, Reservation Master, New Book, Guest point, Motel Mate and Park Mate and many more booking systems, we are very familiar with Kiwi card and Kiwi Parks, we are also very able to learn any other systems.
We normally arrive the day before you leave - first day we arrive and set up, we go over the running of the motel/park with you, day two we are ready to work on our own. When you arrive back, we carry out hand over and discuss anything with you that we need to.
We have a facebook page Rollin Minders NZ. We are both computer literate and we learn systems very quickly. We pride ourselves with good customer service and we also take great pride in the work we do.
